A Michael Jackson Tribute Concert?

The Jackson family, including Janet, may perform in a tribute to Michael next year. AllGood Entertainment had signed the Jacksons to perform a one-off reunion concert on July 3 next year, and was in litigation with Michael, whose manager had also signed the King of Pop up to appear at the concert.

The problem was that, according to the New Jersey based promoter, the agreement included a non-competition clause barring Michael from performing prior to or three months after the single day event. AllGood was seeking to stop the singer from performing in his This Is It concert tour, which was due to begin on July 13 and asking for $20 million in damages.

The reunion concert was set to be a 150-minute show in Texas reuniting all nine Jacksons that would be available on pay-per-view. With Michael gone, it remains to be seen whether the concert will go ahead and whether it will become a tribute to the King of Pop.
